Overview: Searches for new s-channel dijet resonances are among the first analyses to be done at LHC run II. Here, we consider what measurements can be done to characterize and identify the nature of a new resonance, and how to extend searches to cover a wider range of light and heavy resonance masses.
Benchmark Models: Colorons (color-octet vector bosons), leptophobic Z’ or W’ bosons, color-octet scalars (coupling to two gluons), excited quarks, color-triplet and sextet diquarks (which may be either scalars or vectors).
