Testing complementarity on Gambit EWino best point(s) and a compressed non-excluded point

Anders and Tomas supplied SLHA and HepMC files below; first Contur runs by Jon.

Summary of Contur results (Jon)

For the bino < winos < higgsinos ordering there is some (about 1 sigma) sensitivity in the 13 TeV four-lepton measurements. I'm a bit surprised there's no sensitivity then in the 8 TeV four-lepton line shape, but maybe th cross section just drops too much? In any case, the model is apparently rule out by both the ATLAS WWW searches 8 TeV ATLAS WWW measurement (two like sign leptons plus two jets) and the CMS three-lepton measurement.

For the bino < higgsinos < winos ordering, the story is basically the same.

Example electroweakino points with large mass splittings

bino < winos < higgsinos

Contur runs on these events
  • No correlation info, no theory info
  • Correlated experimental systematic uncertainties within a plot, no theory info
  • Correlated experimental systematic uncertainties within a plot, using theory predictions
