Propagation of NNLO results

Summary of the meeting from Friday 5th June

The aim was to discuss ways in which new precision predictions for complicated processes can be made available for flexible experimental analysis.

* Quantifying cost of NNLO computations

Attempt to produce a table which compares the CPU time / number of weighted events required for the various components in:

  1. H+j with sector decompositions improved FKS subtraction
  2. H+j/W+j with N-jettiness subtraction
  3. low pT (0.5 GeV) NLO H+j wit Sherpa (as a contribution to incl. Higgs)
  4. WW/ZZ/ZA/WA/AA with qT subtraction
  5. di-jets/e+e–>3j with Antenna subtraction [need to ask Glover/Gehrmann et al.]
  6. ttbar with STRIPPER [need to ask Czakon/Mitov et al.]

Also try to estimate the size of a basic Root Ntuple format in these cases.

* NNLO Ntuple test case with e+e- → 3jets with EERAD3
